How to keep & display all of your tickets.

ree

Keepsakes – they’re great. A nice little reminder of a great time in your life with fond memories. Some may keep a box full of them safely stored away, others might use frames and crafts skills to create sometimes to hang up. The possibilities are endless tbh.

Personally, I fall into that second option. I like to keep all of my tickets from every concert, live event and comedy show and pin them into shadow boxes to hang up.

I first got this idea while I was working at Michaels. While browsing the aisles one day, I came across these shadow boxes that were exactly the right dimensions to fit a standard size ticket. It got me thinking … I had kept all of my tickets from when I started going to concerts in a little shoebox under my bed. This would be the perfect showcase to display them all.

I had bought 6 shadow boxes to start but quickly realized that wouldn’t be enough. As of right now I have a total of 13 shadow boxes holding 5 tickets each. Quick math suggests that that is about 65 tickets.

I think the official first step to take in becoming a blogger is a tutorial. Below is my version of how to store your tickets properly.

*quick note before we get started – this only works for STANDARD size tickets.

Unfortunately, this won’t work for PDF printed tickets or mobile tickets*

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED

- Shadow box

- Tickets

- Small pins

- Patience (lol)

STEPS

1. Gather all of your tickets that you want to display.

2. Take the backing off the shadow box and lay the tickets down in the order you want (I chose to do mine in chronological order of event date).

3. Grab 4 pins for every ticket you want to display and try to seamlessly stick the pins in each corner of the ticket.

4. Rinse and Repeat for all tickets!
